SafeTemp IV AD480 aircraft anti-icing fluid is a proplyene glycol-based formula with outstanding holdover performance under snow, ice and other freezing conditions. It can be used to prevent ice formation on aircraft surfaces in freezing temperatures to -20°F/-29°C (full strength).
Conforms to SAE/AMS 1428 Type IV. SafeTemp was developed in accordance with the strict industry standard SAE/AMS 1428, Type IV. Through rigorous conformance tests in cold weather conditions, SafeTemp IV demonstrated excellent holdover capabilities. (Certification reports are available upon request.)
